Hiring a FANTASTIC Assistant in Real Estate is not impossible, but there are many things to take into account:

  • How much will you have to pay hourly to get a person who is already experienced in Real Estate?
  • How will you pay their wages when you are not busy, or when you have extra expenses, even if they’re part time?
  • How do you know they will not take what they learn from you and become a licensed competitor?
  • Don’t you deserve to have a competent assistant who can cover you while you are at a closing, showing homes, or spending time with your family?

These are all valid questions to consider. Not to mention sick days, holidays, phone breaks, office space/computer to supply. The answer is simple: Go Virtual!

How many clients have you missed out on because you’re on the computer with busy work? Blogging? Uploading listings? Implementing Price Reductions?

Fact: Realtors only get paid when they execute a listing agreement that is followed by a purchase contract, and when a buyer closes on a home.

They do not get paid to update Facebook, Active Rain, put listings on Craigslist and Postlets, set up feedback responses to sellers, send seller marketing/viewing updates.  The answer is simple: Pay someone to do the items that hinder you from meeting with more potential buyers and sellers. Pay someone to do the busy work so you can take the evening off and spend it with your loved ones.
